Indian Americans Join Senator Jack Reed’s Spring Breakfast To Foster Community Relationships

An Indian American group, led by Dr. Amrut & Deena Patel, Sumesh Hirway, Rakesh & Aditi Soni, Rakesh Kavsari, Girish Soni, Hardik Patel, Sanjay Gokhale, and Abhishek Singh, joined U.S. Senator Jack Reed at his annual Spring Breakfast held at the historic Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, Rhode Island, strengthening ties and fostering meaningful community relationships.

The gathering brought together prominent political leaders, business professionals, and community representatives from across Rhode Island and New England for discussions focused on leadership, collaboration, and the future of diverse communities.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to interact with Rhode Island’s U.S. Congressman Gabe Amo, Congressman Seth Magaziner, Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos, East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva and Karina DaSilva, as well as Rhode Island General Treasurer James A. Diossa.

The Indian American delegation also met with Boston’s first Deputy Consul General of India, Ms. Shruthi Purushotham, along with entrepreneur leaders Jaymin & Kinnari Patel and several distinguished guests dedicated to community service and public engagement.

Community leaders described the breakfast as an inspiring morning filled with meaningful conversations, friendship, public service, and opportunities for continued collaboration between elected officials and the Indian American community.

The event reflected the growing engagement of Indian Americans in civic and community leadership across New England and reaffirmed a shared commitment toward unity, service, and positive change.
