Press Release 04/06/2026 On a vibrant morning in Newton, Changemakers Connect 2026, hosted by Vibha Boston, brought together nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and community members for an engaging exchange of ideas and experiences. Centered around the themes of Connection, Collaboration, and Community,
the event created a meaningful space for organizations to share their
missions and learn from one another. Representatives from organizations
such as Ekal Vidyalaya, Sewa, Cancer Mukti Foundation, Saheli, and Volunteering for Seniors, along with community groups like India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) and Newton Neighbors, highlighted diverse efforts spanning education, healthcare, and community service. A key focus of the discussions was volunteer growth and retention,
with participants openly sharing challenges, strategies, and lessons
learned. What stood out was the spirit of genuine connection—leaders
coming together not just to present, but to listen, collaborate, and
support one another. The
discussions around volunteer engagement, community building, and impact
were incredibly valuable—and a reminder of what’s possible when we come
together with a shared purpose.” shared Sumana Hatwar, Executive Director of Vibha Boston. The event also reflected the broader spirit of India Giving Day, emphasizing how communities in the U.S. can play a vital role in supporting impactful initiatives in India. More
than a networking event, Changemakers Connect served as a reminder that
when organizations come together with a shared purpose, the potential
for impact multiplies. As conversations continue beyond the event, the
focus now shifts to turning these connections into meaningful
collaborations. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” You may also access this article through our web-site http://www.lokvani.com/ |
