Press Release 12/22/2025 IANH Annual General Body Meeting and Elections were held on December 13 The Annual General Body of the India Association of New Hampshire was held on Saturday December 13 at Jyoti Sharma's Residence in Nashua. The meeting was relocated from Nashua Public Library as there was a plumbing emergency at the library. Thanks to Naren and Jyoti for offering to host the AGM at her home at a short notice. Thanks also to Naren for setting up the projector and speaker for the meeting. The following were present in person: Balaji, Manoj, Tej, Anand, Jyoti, Vandana, Anmol, Pawani and life members Naren, Lalba and Swati. The following joined over zoom: Chandana, Sivani and Jayahar. Life Member Lalba donated $5000 to IANH for community service. Thank you Lalba for your generosity. As part of the Annual General Body meeting, IANH Executive Committee members presented their annual reports for 2025 and reflected on their plans for the next year. The General Body Meeting was followed by elections to the Executive Committee for the new term beginning January 1, 2025. There is a total of fifteen positions on the Executive Committee. Ten junior most members of the Executive Committee continue for the new term. Elections are held each year for five Executive Member positions. The nominations closed on Sunday December 6. The following nominations were received for the five Executive Committee member positions: The five nominees were seconded from the floor. No voting was held was as five nominations were received for the five open Executive Committee member positions. The General Body Meeting and Elections were followed by a short meeting of the newly constituted Executive Committee to allocate/ re-allocate the portfolios for the 2026 term. It was decided that Manoj Chourasia will be President and Balaji Vice President from January 1, 2026. No other changes were made to the portfolios. Everyone appreciated Balaji’s excellent leadership as President for the last ten years. The IANH Executive Committee worked like a close-knit team in a positive environment under his leadership. We thank Balaji for his leadership and the time and effort he put into it. Manoj spoke about the four corners: communication, conduct, contribution and creativity and teamwork to set the stage for the new term beginning January 1, 2026. We look forward to working with him as the President of IANH.
