A Season of Thanks

The autumn leaves drifting slowly
In hues of amber, gold, and red
The harvest moon begins to rise
Above the calm November skies

Around the table, hearts draw near
To share good food and love sincere
Hands are joined, and eyes are closed
As grace and gratitude fill the mind

For blessings of loving God and elders
For helping hearts and giving hands
For laughter shared, for joy once adored
For hope that never leaves our side

We thank Mother earth, so rich, so wide
For gifts her gentle fields and farmers provide
We thank the time, the love, the chance
That led us to this day’s warm dance

We genuinely cherish it, year by year for sure
The ones we love, the moments so dear to all
For Thanksgiving is more than lovely feasts
It is keeping grace and kindness within our hearts
