"The United India Association of New England (UIANE) celebrated Diwali on October 26, 2025 in Newton with vibrant performances, community spirit, and the shared joy of giving back.

President Aanch Jain thanked the Boston community for joining in the celebration of light over darkness and expressed gratitude to the dedicated committee — Past president and UIA Advisor Neela Gandhi, Vice President Amit Dutt, Web Master Parvin Khetarpal, and Board of Director Vikas Selhi — along with all the choreographers, performers, and volunteers who made the evening sparkle.

The event was graced by Mayor Ruth Ann Fuller (City of Newton) and Mr. Jay Tuli, CEO of Leader Bank, whose presence added warmth and encouragement.

UIANE also extended thanks to Abhishek Singh  and FIA - New England for their partnership, as together they donated 2,000 pounds of food to the Newton Food Pantry — a true reflection of Diwali’s spirit of generosity.

Celebrating 40+ years of community service, UIANE continues to honor tradition while bringing fresh energy to events that unite and uplift New England’s vibrant Indian community."
