Saheli: Annual Walk, Elections And Diwali

Press Release
10/17/2025

This Diwali, Let's Bring a Little Light to Survivors ✨

Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Diwali!
Diwali is a celebration of light, hope, and new beginnings , a reminder that even the smallest spark can brighten someone's darkness.

At Saheli, we're deeply grateful for the support we receive from community members like you. Because of your kindness, compassion, and commitment, we've been able to stand beside over 350 families this past year, helping survivors of domestic violence rebuild their lives with safety and dignity.

But as we celebrate this festival of lights, we're also facing a difficult reality. Recent funding cuts have put essential survivor programs at risk. This means your support is more important now than ever.

How You Can Share the Light

  • Join us at Saheli's Annual Walk and stand in solidarity with survivors.

  • Donate, even if you can't walk , because something is always better than nothing, and every dollar makes a difference.

As we light our diyas this Diwali, let's extend that glow to those who need it most. Together, we can bring hope, warmth, and a brighter future to survivors and their children.

Thank you for being an essential part of Saheli's journey. Your support is the light that keeps our work alive.
