Press Release 10/11/2025 The "Ragamala Paintings Alive" event, organized by A Future for Every Child (AFEC) on October 4, 2025, was a resounding success — an unforgettable fusion of art, music, and movement that brought centuries-old Indian paintings to life while raising awareness for AFEC's mission to create brighter futures for orphaned and vulnerable youth. Through the interplay of Indian ragas, African rhythms, and contemporary jazz, the performance created a truly global artistic experience. Jayshree's expressive dance and Natraj's musical virtuosity captivated the audience, earning a standing ovation. Beyond its artistic brilliance, the event succeeded in deepening community engagement around AFEC's mission — supporting educational and employment opportunities for youth who face a bleak future after aging out of care homes (orphanages) at age 18. The evening drew enthusiastic participation from supporters, donors, and the art lovers. Attendees expressed appreciation for both the cultural depth of the performance and the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause. "It was more than a concert - Meaning, purpose, and remarkable art all in one event" said one guest. AFEC extends heartfelt thanks to all artists, volunteers, sponsors, attendees and Chinmaya Mission who made the event possible. Your generosity and presence have strengthened our ability to continue our mission — ensuring that every child has the chance to live in safe, supportive environments and grow into happy, productive adults. Together, we are creating a future for every child — one note, one step, and one act of kindness at a time.
