IIT AGNE Hosts Record-Breaking Annual Picnic 2025  The IIT Association of Greater New England (IIT AGNE) celebrated a highly successful Annual Picnic on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at NARA Park in Acton, MA. The marquee event attracted a record attendance of nearly 100 alumni, family, and friends, all of whom enjoyed a perfect late-summer day filled with food, games, and camaraderie. The day's festivities were held under a covered pavilion, offering ample space and seating for everyone in attendance. After a delicious meal, attendees participated in a variety of entertaining activities: "Name that Tune" Antakshari: The classic game was given a unique spin and compered by Harish Patil and Nimish Gera. Five teams of Bollywood music fans enthusiastically competed, earning extra points for providing details like the movie title, composer, and playback singer. Family-Friendly Bingo: An old and incredibly popular addition to the picnic was a game of Bingo, emceed by Jawahar Tembulkar. The game saw lively participation from all ages. The picnic provided an excellent opportunity for alumni to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. The event, open to all IIT alumni, their families, and friends, was a highlight of the year, showcasing the strong community spirit of IIT AGNE.
