Red and yellow; green and blue
Every day has a special pure hue
People sing and dance pleasantly

To the beats of drums and the tunes of music

Nine days of joy, nine nights of light
Garba circles spin so bright and brilliant

Fillis our heart and mind with delight

Prayers we say, sacred songs we sing

Durga Maa blesses with power so bright
Her love and strength guide every day

Mother Durga is so brave and kind
Fills with courage our hearts and minds

She bestows her devotees abundantly

With wealth, health, and prosperity

She is peaceful and very powerful

Filled with extra-ordinary courage

Durga Maa, with her huge strength

Guard the world with sacred light
With a trident high and lion so strong
She ends all evils, right each wrong

Nine forms divine, so pure, so true
Maa Durga, all we seek out is you
In joy or in sorrow, night, or day

Her love shall never fade away

Her bangles shine, her chunni sparkle
In every prayer, her blessings stay
Navaratri teachings, pure and true
The power of goodness lives in us
