| OM Hindu Community Center Gets Governor's Citation |

The citation was obtained and presented by Secretary General Kumu Gupta during the 1008 Archana program. The program consisted of Lord Ganesha's Namavali and 1008 Modak archana conducted by the priest Amruth Bairavsundaram and participated by all attendees, who were each given a small clay Ganpati made by temple volunteers and offering of 1008 modaks, also made by temple volunteers.
" It was amazing to see 765 trees planted by community volunteers and act as an inspiration for New England residents for environmental protection and climate change", said Secretary General Kumu Gupta of Global Peace Secretariat, recipient Mayor's Citation for Earth Day & former EPA New England Environmental Merit Award candidate.”
