Global Peace Secretariat Congratulates Satvik Morey on Special Olympics Table Tennis Bronze medal 

 

Congratulations to Satvik Morey of Mamta School for his Bronze medal in Table Tennis representing Karnataka in the National Championships hosted by Special Olympics Bharat in Chandigarh, Punjab.

 

Mamta, formed in 1997, is a Special Needs School for children with intellectual disability, recognized by the Directorate of the Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizens Bangalore Karnataka India.

 

"I am so proud of my high school classmate and friend Monica Elvira DSouza, from Indian School Kuwait to have brought Mamta School founded by her father and it's angelic children,  since it's launch to today winning a medal of the world famous prestigious Special Olympics"..... Secretary General Kumu Gupta.

 

Special Olympics started by Mrs. Eunice Kennedy Shriver, sister of President John F. Kennedy in 1968, is a global sports movement to end discrimination against people with intellectual disabilities with presence in over 200 countries.

 

"It was a great honor to be in touch with Mrs. Eunice Kennedy Shriver, a beacon of hope for specially abled children....

 

As member of President's Challenge Program of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition (under President Obama) ,  I strongly supported  and continue to do so , the " I Can Do It, You Can Too"  initiative of the program for special needs children and adults."......Secretary General Kumu Gupta Global Peace Secretariat.
