Global Peace Secretariat announces Special Citation to Kabir Society of America
Secretary General Kumu Gupta Global Peace Secretariat, announced presentation of a Special Citation to Kabir Society of America during their 4th Kabir Festival themed ' Kabir's Philosophy Through Arts' in Waltham MA.
Kabir Society of America, a non profit, is run by a small group of volunteers keeping Saint Kabir's timeless work alive.
The citation was spontaneously announced after being deeply touched by the message behind the festival, of spreading peace and harmony through wisdom in Saint Kabir's poetry ' dohe's', in the opening remarks. Secretary General Kumu Gupta believes.....

Kabir Das , born in Varanasi UP India, was a mystical poet and social reformer of India in 15th century revered by Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs.
