Boston Magazine's 2025 Power List, which celebrates the city's 150 most influential figures, included four Indian-American executives who are making significant contributions across various sectors.

Amongst them are Reshma Kewalramani, president and CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals; Raj Sharma, founder and managing director, the Sharma Group and Merrill; Aman Narang, co-founder and CEO of Toast; and Reetika Vijay, managing principal, IA Interior Architects. 

Reshma Kewalramani, CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, is at the forefront of biotech innovation. Her leadership has propelled Vertex into groundbreaking partnerships, including collaborations with CRISPR Therapeutics. 

Kewalramani's commitment to advancing treatments for various diseases underscores her influence in the healthcare sector. 

Raj Sharma, founder and managing director, the Sharma Group, and Merrill is a prominent executive in Boston's financial landscape. 

Under his leadership and expertise in wealth management and dedication to client success,  Sharma Group is ranked by Forbes as the premier private wealth team in Massachusetts and 10th in the country. Sharma also serves as board member of American India Foundation (AIF). 

Aman Narang, co-founder, and CEO of Toast, continues to transform the hospitality industry with innovative technology solutions. Under his leadership, Toast has expanded its cloud-based platform, streamlining operations for thousands of restaurants nationwide. 

Narang's vision has positioned Toast as a leader in restaurant technology, enhancing efficiency and customer experience. He is now expanding his technological prowess to make shopping easier at local grocery stores, corner markets, and liquor stores. 

Reetika Vijay, managing principal at IA Interior Architects' Boston office, is recognized for her impactful workplace designs that prioritize employee well-being. 
With over 25 years of experience, she has led projects that have transformed millions of square feet of office space. Vijay also champions philanthropy through IAReach, a program supporting charitable initiatives globally.
