Khare The India
Society of Worcester (ISW) is set to bring the colorful spirit of Holi to
Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston on Saturday, March 16, from 3 PM to 5 PM.
This much-anticipated event will feature live performances, high-energy
Dhol-Tasha-Lezim, traditional and contemporary dances, and the joyful play of
dry colors. Known as
the festival of colors, Holi celebrates joy, unity, and the arrival of spring.
The ISW Symphony Dhol-Tasha-Lezim team will lead the festivities with powerful
beats, setting the stage for a lively afternoon of music and dance. Attendees
can join in the fun, immersing themselves in the cultural experience playing
with dry colors. Founded in
1963, ISW is one of New England’s premier Indian organizations, dedicated to
promoting Indian culture, education, and community service. Entirely
volunteer-run, ISW provides a platform for all generations to connect,
celebrate, and showcase their talents, fostering a deeper understanding of
Indian heritage. The society also collaborates with other organizations,
strengthening cultural ties across the region. This free
event welcomes the Boston community to experience Indian culture, music, and
traditions in a festive and immersive way. Whether dancing to rhythmic dhol
beats or capturing the colorful spectacle, ISW’s Holi celebration promises an
unforgettable experience. Come
dance, play with colors, and enjoy the festive spirit! Don't miss it! For more
