The South Asian Showdown Competition is BACK! The 15th annual South Asian Showdown Competition will take place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at the world renowned Strand Theatre. South Asian Showdown will host 10 of the best Bollywood/Fusion teams from North America who will compete to be crowned the South Asian Showdown Champions! The last 14 years of the show have been very successful with strong support from sponsors and has sold out with an attendance of 1,400 people! This year we are making the competition even MORE exclusive. Our judges will INVITE teams to the competition! Teams can't apply, only the judges can help pick them! These will be the BEST teams from North America! You don't want to miss it! Bollywood is a style of dance that incorporates dance styles set to a story line. Fusion incorporates any style of dance that helps to move the story line forward. Together, they create a very fun and energetic dance style that will get the audience members enthused and moving in their seats! This show will be advertised nationally via television, newspaper, radio, in stores and the internet making it the largest south asian promoted event in the northeast! We will also have Dan Nainan be our MC for the night and do some comedy for us at the end of the show!!! He is a world renowned comedian and we know he'll bring the h0use down! Come HUNGRY to the event as we will have Shan-a-Punjab sell indian food onsite along with non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy during the show!
