Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra kept their relationship guarded and made it official only after tying the knot in February this year. They married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in the presence of family members and friends at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace. The couple dated for a few years before taking the next step in their relationship. Kiara, who has been extremely protective about her personal life, revealed the reason behind not making her relationship with Sidharth official before the wedding. The actress said in an interview with Femina, "Before we were married, it was an issue because we wanted to protect our relationship. We are both self-made actors and have earned our spaces in the industry on our own. It’s something that we’ve put so much hard work into that we would not want it to be taken away by having the focus shift to our personal lives.” For the unversed, Kiara is the step-great-granddaughter of Ashok Kumar and the grand-niece of Saeed Jaffrey. Her mother Genevieve is the daughter of Saeed's brother Hamid and his first wife, a British woman. He divorced his British wife and married Bharti Ganguly, who is one of the daughters of Ashok Kumar. Talking about the intimate wedding, the actress said, "It was a beautiful union, and, of course, we wanted to share it with everybody." She continued, "We are public figures, and a certain inquisitiveness comes with it – which is fine. It’s even sweet. But it cannot take away from our work. We are actors first and that’s what we want to be known for."

For the past 12 years, we’ve seen Ajay Devgn roar on screen as the no-nonsense cop Bajirao Singham, a role that he is reprising in Singham Again. But it looks like he has another fierce cop right at home. One hears that Kajol plays a tough-as-nails police officer in Do Patti, which also stars Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh. Sanon and writer Kanika Dhillon’s maiden production went on floors on August 18 with a brief shoot in Mumbai, before the unit headed to Nainital. A source reveals, “Kajol portrays a tough-talking, sassy police officer from north India in the mystery thriller. Kriti’s role is equally exciting. In the movie, Kajol’s character is in hot pursuit of Kriti, chasing her across Mussoorie, Landour and Nainital. In her three-decade career, the actor has essayed diverse roles, but the opportunity to play a cop never arose before. She was immediately drawn to this complex role.”

Naseeruddin Shah is one of the most talented and loved actors in the country. In 2014, the senior actor launched his autobiography titled 'And Then One Day'. In the book, he narrates interesting anecdotes from his personal and professional life. One of the incidents from the 70s had left his fans and movie lovers in shock. Naseeruddin Shah had spoken about a co-actor a former friend attempting to stab him with a knife. He also revealed that it was the late actor Om Puri who interfered and saved him. While shooting for the 1977 film Bhoomika, Naseeruddin and Om were having dinner at a restaurant when an actor friend of his, Jaspal, entered the place. Naseeruddin and Jaspal were not on good terms back then and had some differences. "We ignored each other but, eyes fixed on me, he passed to sit on another table behind me, so I thought. After a while, I was reminded of his presence by what felt like a short sharp punch in the middle of my back. I started to rise, wearily preparing myself for another free-for-all. Before I could move, Om with a strangled cry lunged at something behind me. I turned to see Jaspal holding a small knife, its point dripping blood, his hand raised to strike again, and Om and two others grappling to subdue him, " the senior actor wrote in his book describing the moment.
