Trinity – A Grand Dance & Music Spectacular

An afternoon of scintillating Bharatanatyam dance and Carnatic music awaits patrons of classical Indian arts in the greater Boston area on July 30, 2023 at the Keefe Technical School in Framingham, MA.

Natyamani School of Dance and Anubhava School of Music are collaborating to present Trinity - a grand production of dance and music.

This unique production showcases the talent and brilliance of two of New England’s premier Indian art schools. The Bharatanatyam dances expertly choreographed by Guru Sridevi Ajai Thirumalai will be set to music masterfully arranged by Guru Tara Bangalore. The program is a tribute to the Trinity of Indian Classical Music, the composer-musicians, Sri Thyagaraja, Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar and Sri Syama Sastri.

Universally hailed as the Three Jewels of Carnatic Music, they represent an era of unparalleled, prolific, and distinguished compositions in the 18^th century, with each composer etching their individual brilliance and unique signatures on their musical masterpieces. The various performances in the program will be based on musical compositions of the Trinity.

The main feature of the show will be presentations by senior students of Anubhava and Natyamani. This group that includes college students and working professionals has been practicing for the show for several months, unfazed by the challenges of collaborating across time zones. The drive for perfection – a veritable hallmark of both the schools, is most certain to shine through and make for an unforgettable experience.

Both Guru Tara and Guru Sridevi are recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award from India New England News.
