Congratulations to Amar Kapur and Aimtek as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary. In 1973, Amar and Ani Kapur started American Industrial & Medical Products, Inc. on Highland Street in Worcester, MA.
In 1975, it relocated to a new 2000 sq. ft. facility on Cambridge Street in Worcester, MA and began producing and supplying Speciality Gases. In 1978 it moved to its current location in Aubun, MA.
Over the years, it has received a number of awards including Small Business of the Year, Gold Award by the U.S Defense Supply Center, Supplier of the Year, United Technologies Supplier Gold Status and many others.
Today, Aimtek provides high quality metal joining products and services to the Aerospace, Power Generation, Industrial Gas Turbine, Oil & Gas, Defense, Medical, Automotive, and Manufacturing industries. Aimtek is independently owned, and services a global market through its expanding network of representatives and distributors.
