This year's celebrations consist of New England's favorite summer activities.

• Ball Game @Fenway along with cultural showcase on Jersey Street Celebrating India with the biggest fanfare on August 8th
• Flag raising in various New England towns - August 5th and 6th.
• Independence Day celebration 'India the TRAILBLAZER' at the Hatch Shell, Boston, our annual flagship event (Free Entry) - August 19th, 2:30 - 6:30 pm

IAGB presents â€˜â€˜India the Trailblazer", a program with a great lineup of cultural performances, and an Under the open sky concert.

Program Date: August 19 2023

Program Time: 2.30 pm – 6:30 pm

Program Venue: Hatch Shell, Boston

We would like to extend a warm invitation to all New England performers to participate in this stellar program. We would like to welcome performance submissions for varied dance styles / genre with ideas that align with our program theme of 'India the Trailblazer'.

This year IAGB's India Day event will be celebrating the unique trailblazing qualities of our Indian American community. You can highlight these qualities or the people exemplifying these qualities by contributing to our annual magazine in the following ways:

1. Short essay (upto 500 words) about the person from Indian American community who has made biggest impact on your life - family, a friend, or a person from the larger Indian American community 

2. Poem cherishing a thought, a person, an event you think best exemplifies the quintessential IndianAmericanness   

3. Small write-up (upto 300 words) about a particular aspect in your ethnic identity that you've been able to utilize to blend into the larger American community
