Magic Diet for Weight Loss

The Magic Diet is the diet that allows you to eat as much as you want and at the same time, you keep on losing weight. It helps to lose a significant amount (6 to 8 kg) of weight within a month. There are four types of diets according to calories. 1) Low Calorie Diet: Vegetables and salads, 2) Medium Calorie Diet: Fruits and juices, 3) High Calorie Diet: Roti, bread, and rice, 4) Rich Calorie Diet – Fried items. If you keep on eating only vegetables and fruits, then you will keep on losing weight.

Magic Diet for a typical day:

Breakfast: Eat enough fruits (avoid bananas and mangoes) or salads and/or juices without added sugar

 

 Lunch: Eat lots of Kachumbar (mixture of different raw vegetables like cucumber, carrots, radish, cabbage, cauliflower, capsicum) or leafy vegetable salads (lattes, methi, radish leaves, baby spinach, shaw flower leaves) by mixing them with any of your regular Dals made from split or whole grams or you can eat them with salsas, or chutneys, or Baiagan bharta, or yogurt or simply eat them by sprinkling little salt and black pepper or chili flakes with little tincture of lemon juice. You can also add a teaspoon full sesame or sunflower seeds, or pieces of peanuts or almonds or walnuts or pecans, dry apricots, or cranberries etc. to make your salads or Kachumber more nutritious. For leafy vegetable salads use little sesame oil, or peanut oil, salt, chili powder with sesame or peanut powder, lemon juice to make it tastier. Oils are full of healthy fats, which help you better absorb the nutrition of your salad greens. Plus, oils can be beneficial to your skin and hair, they can increase your energy levels, and reduce inflammation.

 

Dinner: Eat enough steamed vegetables, soups, and Rasam. Boiling will make the water-soluble vitamins leak out from the vegetables. If you boil the vegetables, then use that water for making your soups. Place fresh herbs like basil, bay leaves, curry leaves, drumstick leaves or dill on top of your vegetables to steam. Coat the vegetables with olive oil, or sesame oil, or peanut oil, salt, black pepper powder or Chili flakes before steaming to lock in flavor. Use Mince garlic, and ginger for an extra flavor kick. Use cilantro or green onions as a final garnish for a stronger, brighter flavor. You can also add a teaspoon full sesame or sunflower seeds, or pieces of peanuts or almonds or walnuts or pecans, dry apricots, or cranberries etc. to make it more nutritious and tastier.

 

During your day, if you feel hungry in between breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner, then eat more fruits, salads, or soups. There is no need to eat Roti and rice. You can eat fresh vegetables and fruits as much as you like. With this Magic Diet, you will be able to lose 5 to 6 Kgs in a month. If you add on routine walking and few simple exercises to your Magic Diet, then you will be able to lose 8 to 10 Kgs in a month easily. Try this Magic Diet to lose your weight. If you miss regimen few times.

Please considered practicing “digestive walks.” Taking a 15-minute walk after meals has been shown to significantly lower after-meal blood sugar levels. Another study found when you walk after consuming a large meal, food moves through the digestive track easily.

Any Problem with Magic Diet: One problem is the person on this diet might feel hungry often but not problem at all because you can eat one apple or drink a glass full of juice or eat some carrots or cucumber to quench you hunger. Eating fruits or vegetables in between your regular meals does not add more calories to your body. This is an unrestricted diet. You can eat as many times as you want without any fear of gaining weight.

Cost of the Magic Diet: Magic Diet does not cost you much but in fact, it saves you a lot of money, gas/electricity, and time that you spend in cooking your food.

Duration of Magic Diet: You do not have to be on Magic Diet for life long. You can go for a half-Magic Diet when you achieve your targeted weight loss goal. After that, you can eat one regular meal or two small rotis or little rice.

Who can follow Magic Diet: People with diabetes, thyroid and heart problem can also follow Magic Diet. This is good for people with sugar and blood pressure problems. Heart patients are not allowed to eat chicken and fish or any non-veg foods.

Use of Milk: Milk is allowed in the Magic Diet. You can use skimmed milk. Please remember 1-gram fat has 9 calories.

Food with preservatives: It is hard to find foods without preservatives nowadays. Therefore, you can use such foods when it is inevitable. If you are traveling, you can use artificial soup pouches.

What to Avoid: Please do not eat oats, sprouts, roasted chana, chapati, sabu dana because they have calorie foods. 

What else can be taken: You can take vitamins but there is no need for any vitamins since you are getting all kinds of vitamins from you different fruits and vegetables.
