Bengaluru has been the number one goto place for multinationals. Now there is a big effort to bring opportunities to other cities like Mysuru, Mangaluru and Hubballi-Dharwad-Belagavi. They also touted the fact that there is a large number of engineering colleges in Karnataka and thus there is plenty of talent to support the industries.  In addition to software, Mysuru is also becoming a hub for electronic manufacturing.

“Our vision is aligned with that of Primeminister Modi who has set out for India to become a developed nation by 2047” said Naidu. It was inspiring to hear about the KDEM initiative. For people who would like to learn more about this initiative, please send an email to ranchun@mikrografeio.com
