FIA New England Celebrated 73rd Republic Day At Grand Worcester Union Station

Federation of Indian Association (FIA) New England, imbued with great patriotic zeal and fervor, celebrated the 73rd Republic Day on January 25, 2022, at Grand Worcester Union Station, Worcester, MA with the Indo-American Community, and other partners. The event was a combination of Zoom/YouTube/Facebook live in front of the 75 invited guests, and more than 1000 online guests.

Cancer Shakti Foundation Donates Funds To Leukemia And Lymphoma Society
Cancer Shakti Foundation in collaboration conducted an in person social event in 2021 led by Dr. Shefali Agarwal, founder. All the funds raised from this event were donated to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ( LLS).

Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) New England celebrated International Women’s Day at the Senior Center in Northborough, MA with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Hindu devotees across the world celebrated Maha Shivaratri on March 2nd from morning to midnight with great fervor and zeal. Thousands of devotees from the New England region area thronged the Shivalaya Temple of Greater Boston to offer prayers on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

Bramhavaadini Gita Graduation Ceremony
Bramhavaadini, a women’s organization focused on the study and spread of Hindu scriptures, held its first Gita Study graduation ceremony on Sunday March 7th at the Chinmaya Maruti temple in Andover, MA. The twenty-one week course titled “Gita for the Goddess in You” was led by Dr. Shashi Dwaraknath and focused on the study of the Gita from a woman’s perspective.

Transcendence, a classical dance and music concert hosted by the Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre in Cambridge on Saturday, March 12th, was a soul-satisfying experience for knowledgeable rasikas and beginners alike! The evening offered high-quality live performances, with Soumya Rajaram’s electrifying performance as its high point. Eminent dancer and teacher, Guru Neena Gulati, founder and director of the Triveni School of Dance, was honored for her contributions to the dance community of Greater Boston.
