Humor: We Shall be Organized

I think I was born unorganized. I could never find matching pairs of socks and my mother is always cleaning up after me. But I am gifted with tremendous capacity for creating organizations. At age of three, I started my first organization in my locality. The goal was to unite all people with dogs and to protect the interests of the dogs. It was very well received and the membership rose beyond my comprehension. Two years later, my term as president of this organization was over. Then I suddenly realized that white dogs are very different from other dogs and formed a new organization for white dogs. Now this gained more popularity than my first organization.

When I joined school, I was handed a list of organizations and was asked to join those that matched my interests. The list was two pages long and had an organization for every cause and thought, but me join an organization?? No way!! I started a new organization which would help people in picking organizations. This organization solicited membership from all existing organizations and helped new and old students in picking the right organization for them. Two years later I came up with a innovative idea and formed another organization for students who couldn’t identify themselves with any other organization. My two organizations were very well received and I was rewarded for my leadership and organizational skills.

I feel I should quit my job and start a consultancy on getting organized. Last month a friend came to me and said, "dude, I have lost my job, I am a having hard time finding a job in this economy.” I said, “ Do you know how many people have lost jobs recently and are in same boat that you are in? Think big, dude. Here is an opportunity to build an organization for these people. Provide support in finding opportunities, organize meetings, forums, counseling, etc. I will help you with business development model." In less a week his organization had more than hundred members.

Friends, if you are not yet members of any organization or never formed any organization, don't worry, sing this song with me. (It is set to the tune of 'We shall overcome')

We shall be organized
We shall be organized
We shall be organized someday
Oh! Ho! Deep in my heart, I do believe
We shall be organized someday

There shall be organizations all over
There shall be organizations all over
There shall be organizations all over someday
Oh! Ho! Deep in my heart, I do believe
There shall be organizations all over someday

There shall be an organization for every cause
There shall be an organization for every thought
There shall be an organization for every cause and thought someday
Oh! Ho! Deep in my heart, I do believe
There shall be an organization for every cause and thought someday
