Press Release
10/13/2022

Wholistic Health Alliance Inc. Launches

After months of rigorous and effortful work by our team of middle and high schoolers, we have finally launched the Fooditude project, under the Wholistic Health Alliance (WHA) - Youth Brigade (YB). Health is true wealth, more so in current times. And health starts with the kind of food we eat, as well as our eating habits. Through Fooditude project, we are aiming to increase awareness around healthy foods and healthy eating habits, all in a fun organic way, through videos, reels, events as well as social media and frequent conversations.

Currently, we have students from Grades 8-11, from several States (MA, IL, NY, AZ), involved in this project. We request and encourage all parents reading this Press Release to contact us to engage your Youth (8th Grade and higher) in this very relevant and much needed endeavor. We are also looking for parent volunteers. Whether or not you have a Youth at home, please email us if you can volunteer. If you are a Youth reading this article, please go online to our website, enroll as a Youth Brigade member, and email us to get started. This is a great project for Youth to be involved in and will likely lead to healthier ways of living in them personally as well. Also, working with a group of motivated and committed peers imparts additional benefits such as new skills, learning experience, confidence building, leadership qualities and more.

Wholistic Health Alliance (WHA) gives out Volunteer hour certificates, who request for it. WHA is also an approved non-profit to nominate Youth for Presidential Volunteer Service Award. So don’t wait, reach out to us now!

About the Youth Brigade (YB):  This is a youth volunteer group under Wholistic Health Alliance (WHA) that aims to engage youth in conversations around health. It is targeted toward youth in the age group of 13-19, with the belief that healthy habits should be inculcated young. A healthy childhood and youth ensure a healthier and productive adult life. This platform provides an opportunity for our Youth to meet, have a conversation in their own ‘lingo’ within their own ‘tribe’, inspire and support one another, hopefully entrenching them soundly on a healthier life through education, interaction, and role modeling. Participating and contributing to non-profit activities allows them to give back to their community as well. More details here: http://www.lokvani.com/lokvani/article.php?article_id=13618
