Chinmaya Boston (Metrowest) To Celebrate Srinivasa Kalyanam

Press Release
09/01/2022

Chinmaya Boston (Metrowest) Celebrates Srinivasa Kalyanam

Its late summer and a perfect setting for wedding season to shift to high gear in Boston. What better time than now to witness and enjoy a celestial wedding celebration, Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam, organized by Chinmaya Mission Boston Metrowest chapter!

What is Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam?

Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam depicts the story of Sri Srinivasa (Lord Rama) fulfilling his promise to marry Padmavati Devi (Goddess Lakshmi) during the Kali Yuga (current Hindu epoch). The event offers us an opportunity for us to reunite in person in a world remade by the recent pandemic, reaffirm our ties with friends in our community and relive this timeless celebration.

When and where is the event?

The event will be held at Congregation B’nai Shalom in Westborough, MA between 8.30am and 2pm ET on Sept 10, 2022.

Admission is free for all. We thank you in advance for RSVP’ing to the event, as it will allow us to better plan the complimentary Prasad (consecrated food) for all attendees.
