‘Madhoshi’ directed by Tanveer Khan and produced by Anil Sharma film is ready for release. The film, inspired by the events of 9/11 is about a girl who loses her sister in the terror attack. Bipasha Basu plays the grief stricken sister who meets John Abraham who plays a counter terrorism specialist. What happens next is anyone’s guess! The film also stars Priyanshu Chatterjee. The film has music by Roop Kumar Rathod.

Baghban director Ravi Chopra has Amitabh, Hema and Salman Khan in his next film ‘Babul’ too. The film tells the story of a father who tries to get his daughter-in-law wed after his son dies an immature death. Rani Mukherjee is slated to play the daughter in law, Bachchan, the father and Salman Khan the son. Akshay Kumar has been approached to play the person Rani is supposed to marry. The film is expected to be completed by May and will release next July.

Ash and Vivek together in a film again? After KYUN! HO GAYA NA the real life love duo have been approached to do the next film by Indra Kumar, who had a hit in Masti earlier this year. Ashok Thakaria produces the yet untitled film. The producers hope to start the film in September and wrap up the entire shooting in November and December.

Whispers in Bollywood suggest that the original Dream Girl, Hema Malini will direct her daughter Esha Deol in a upcoming film. Hema’s first directorial venture was ‘Dil Aashna hai.’ Rekha is supposed to have an important role in the film. Hema and Esha are also acting together in a film.

Indian Prez Dr. Abdul Kalam recognized Amitabh Bachchan’s and Aishwarya Rai’s promotion of the polio eradication inoculation campaign with an award in early August.
Apparently, research has shown that the success of polio eradication drive has increased by 70 per cent since Amitabh Bachchan started promoting the inoculation campaign.

Actor Mohnish Behl's father Colonel Rajneesh Behl died last week after his apartment in Colaba in South Mumbai caught fire. He suffered third degree burns.
Rajneesh Behl was the husband of the late actress Nutan. The fire reportedly started in Behl's penthouse apartment. The body of Rajneesh Behl was found in a badly charred condition, almost four hours after the fire broke out.
Our sympathies are with Mohnish Behl.
