This Summer - Celebrate India’s 75^th Independence Day!

This year’s August 15 event is a milestone Independence Day for India. It marks 75 years of independence for India - the diamond anniversary! Two of the Nazraana music event organizers are planning to celebrate this amazing anniversary of Indian independence in a very memorable way.

Indian Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) is hosting the “Bharat Parikrama” program that consists of three events. The first one is spread across the many New England towns on Aug 6th when there will be flag raising events. The second event is the Independence Day celebration at the Hatch Shell on August 13. India Society of Worcester (ISW) is hosting “India Day” event on August 6 from 12 - 7 p.m., at the DCU center in Worcester. It consists of cultural performances, vendors, food, and so much more. The theme of the event is “Pancha Tatva: The Elements of Nature”. In classical and medieval philosophy, it is thought that the world is made up of 5 elements: fire, earth, air, water, and sky. It is a common belief in Vedic philosophy that when the 5 elements meet in harmony, the origins of life form. With this in mind, one can anticipate that ISW’s India Day will be an amazing event. Samarthanam USA, Juju Productions, Indian Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) and India Society of Worcester (ISW) are proud to present “Nazraana” - a live music concert featuring Vijay Prakash and Anuradha Palakurthi. The concert is a multilingual event, and will be held on August 20, 2022 at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA.
