Problem 1: 

In a quadrilateral prism:  known surface area S = 12400 mm2 base side m = 40mm and prism height = 120mm, what is the length of another base side n =? 


Problem 2:
Michael modeled from plasticine a 15 cm high pyramid with a rectangular base with the sides of the base a = 12 cm and b = 8 cm. From this pyramid, Janka modeled a rotating cone with a base diameter d = 10 cm. How tall was Janka's cone?

Can you solve sqrt (53 - 10 x sqrt(6)) with using a calculator.

Problem 2:

Tony and Alexa both left Town A at 5:00 pm, heading for Town B. Tony's average speed was 15 mph faster than Alexa's average speed. Tony reached Town B at 8:30 pm. How many miles was Alexa from Town B at 8:30 pm?
