Pt. Kushal Das


Pt. Kushal Das is one of the leading sitar players of India today. He hails from a family of musicians. His grandfather late Bimal Chandra Das was a famous Esraj player; his father Sri Sailen Das and his uncle Sri Santanu Das are highly recognized Sitar players. In order to accomplish a more profound understanding of Raga interpretations he took vocal lessons with Pt. Manas Chakraborty and Sri Ramkrishna Basu. Kushal Das has performed in almost all the famous Music Festivals in India and has also traveled widely all over the globe. Kushal Das is a Top grade musician of All India Radio and Doordarshan. His style of sitar playing is marked with precision, clarity and emotive expression.


Pt. Kumar Bose


Pandit Kumar Bose is an Indian tabla maestro and composer of Indian Classical Music. Pandit Bose belongs to the Benaras Gharana style of tabla playing, having honed his skills under the tutelage of the legendary Pandit Kishan Maharaj. Pandit Bose rose to prominence with his flamboyant performances with Pandit Ravi Shankar.Pandit Kumar Bose has established himself as one of the leading exponents of the tabla and an internationally recognized face in the world of Indian Classical Music. He received the

Sangeet Natak Academy Award in 2007. Pt. Bose has been applauded for evolving a distinctive style of his own without diluting the purity of tradition.
