5 signs that it’s time to quit your job!

There is a point in everyone’s career where they start feeling exhausted at work and think about quitting job. There can be a lot of reasons behind this thought, maybe the manager is brutal, the employee is overqualified for the job, salary issues or the employee is in search of a new job.

There might be other reasons as well and some of those could be deeply rooted with the workplace:

1.Your work exhausts you

If you feel that meeting deadlines, listening to the manager’s instructions, sitting at a desk for hours is disappointing, then it could be that your interests are not aligned with the job.

It may be possible that your heart lies somewhere else. In this case, find what you are passionate about and make that your livelihood.

2.You feel constantly on the edge

Typically when a company is facing a lot of issues and the workplace environment becomes hostile, its employees face mental stress and burnout.

This could prompt the employees to resign as such a dynamic and volatile environment can demoralise them.

3.Poor job fit

Suppose a person who is really good at programming is given the job of the QC, certainly his productivity will be affected. It happens very often that people accept any job offer coming their way. Later they regret when their aptitude doesn’t match with the job.

4.Opportunities are passing you by

At times, employees start to feel that they are losing onopportunities and are simply wasting their time at a certain job. This gradually results in the person losing interest in his job and poor productivity.

5.Your corporate culture is deteorating

When companies fall in tough times, their organisational culture slides. Example – when suddenly the flexible work routine becomes far too rigid or monetary and non-monetary benefits cease.

These should be a silent hint for a employee and he should reconsider his tenure with the company.
