Wholistic Health Alliance App Project and Art Contest

Wholistic Health Alliance (WHA) launched the Youth Brigade in 2017, with the vision to put Youth at the center of the health dialogue. The Youth Brigade (YB) aims to involve the Youth in starting and engaging in conversations around health. It is targeted toward youth in the age group of 13-19, with the belief that healthy habits should be inculcated young. A healthy childhood and youth ensures a healthier and productive life. This platform provides an opportunity for our Youth to meet, have a conversation in their own ‘lingo’ within their own ‘tribe’, inspire and support one another, hopefully entrenching them soundly on a healthier life  through education, interaction and role modelling. Participating and contributing in non-profit activities allows them to give back to their community as well. So this initiative is a win-win for the Youth on many fronts.

WHA App project:

Recently our Youth Brigade members have launched a project to develop an App for Whloistic Health Alliance. About 15 Youth from across 4 states have been meeting regularly for the past 8 weeks to work on concept, coding, wireframing and design for the App. At this stage they need to hear from the Consumer as well as the Practitioner.

Please take 2 minutes to take the short survey below (as applicable) and please share widely with family and friends. Please remember WHA is dedicated to building Healthy Communities. So all this effort is for YOU! I commend our Youth for working diligently on this project. Please take a couple minutes to help them out and support their efforts! Special shout out to our WHA YB President, Aagam Prakash (9th Grade) for ably leading this project for WHA. And to WHA YB alum Aarzu Miharia for taking over our social media management.
