Prof Om Prakash Gupta, courtesy Sriramcrit international organized an online Ramayan poet conference which was attended by poets and listeners of many countries on Saturday, May 16 2020. This amazing online program included poets from India, Singapore, Australia, America, England, etc. Over 21 male and female poets from around the world presented in different styles a contemporary take on the character of Ram and Sita through their poems.
Prof Om Prakash Gupta's poem "Kal ka Dar* addressed the fear felt by many during the current time. Since the beginning of the Pandemic, this online forum has become very popular amongst Ramayan aficionados.
"We are now planning a one of a kind virtual Akhand Ramayan Pat on May 30 and 31" said. Shri Shiv Prakash Agarwal "We will have participants from over 45 countries"
Ram devotees believe that the chanting of the Ramayana will restore order in the world that has been set off keel by the Pandemic.
