03/27/2020

Problem 1:
Let's say an infectious  disease, like COVID-19, spreads by doubling the number of cases every 4 days.  If there are 5 cases on  day 1 how many cases will be there after 40 days.

Problem 2:
Due to social distancing, an infected person only spreads the disease to 1.25 new people every 4 days.  If there are 5 cases on  day 1 how many cases will be there after 40 days.
