Miss India Pageant Is Announced For 2019-20

Applications are open for 8th annual Miss India pageant in New England area. The pageant will be held at Hilton Boston-Woburn on December 1, 2019. There are three categories of participation. Miss India, Mrs India, Miss IndiaTeen. A separate Classic Mrs/Ms India category is back after 5 years which is dedicated for charity.

IDC: Seminar On The British Period

The seventh seminar in the series "Let us Explore the Cultural History of India" is scheduled for November 30 at Bemis Hall in Lincoln. It will deal with the British Period in India 1800AD to 1947AD. Besides the six-track presentation on Geography and People, Art and Culture, Language and Literature, Philosophy and Religion, Science and Technology, Economy and Politics, it will feature eye-witness accounts of Quit India movement, the Partition of India and the birth of Pakistan.

16th Annual Boston Bhangra Competition

The 16th annual Boston Bhangra Competition will take place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 at the world renowned John Hancock Hall. Boston Bhangra will host the best bhangra teams from North America who will compete to be crowned the Boston Bhangra Champions! The last 15 years of the show have been very successful with strong support from sponsors and has sold out with an attendance of 3,000 people!
