Lokvani is delighted to present the last set of community unsung heroes to be honored at the 3rd Annual Lokvani Community and Youth Night to be held on Dec. 7, 2019 at Ambrosia Banquet Hall in Foxborough, MA. Ravi Arora, Raksha Soni, Budhinath Padhy and Kunjavihari Kashalikar are being recognized for their tireless support of community work. We humbly salute their work. 16th Annual Boston Bhangra Competition


The 16th annual Boston Bhangra Competition will take place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 at the world renowned John Hancock Hall. Boston Bhangra will host the best bhangra teams from North America who will compete to be crowned the Boston Bhangra Champions! The last 15 years of the show have been very successful with strong support from sponsors and has sold out with an attendance of 3,000 people!

The fall meeting of the South Asian Poets of New England is scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 10 at 2 PM in Lexington Public Library. The program is called “Voice of the People” where the participants are invited to recite memorable poems in their native language or a new composition following the classics.
