Sri Siddha Lalitha Peetham (Durga Temple) in Burlington is celebrating the Sarannavaratri events from 29th Sep to 7th Oct in our temple at 85 Wilmington Road, Burlington.

There will be Special Alankaram to Maa Durga on each day of Navaratri. The Special Alankarams are  Balatripura Sundari (9/29), Annapurna (9/30), Gayatri (10/1), Lalitha - Panchami (10/2), Maha Lakshmi - Sasti (10/3), Saraswati – Saptami (10/4), Vijaya Durga – ASTAMI (10/5), Mahishasura Mardini - NAVAMI (10/6), Raja Rajeswari - DASAMI (10/7).

While Chandi Homam (Havan) is performed in the morning on Navami (Sun, 10/6), the Sura Samharam (Killing of demon Mahishasura) is demonstrated in the evening from 8 pm to 9 pm where devotees can participate holding the Palkhis of Devi and Mahishasura where Demon Mahishasura comes in different forms to fight with Maa Durga. Mahishasura Mardini Alankaram adds to the aptness of the day.
