Celebrities have a major role to play in influencing and inspiring the public to get fitter and healthier. If you thought the list would be limited to just Bollywood celebrities and sportspersons, think again. The one person who is actually inspiring people the change their lifestyle is our very own Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to a new survey conducted by a popular fitness wear brand, Narendra Modi has grabbed a spot on the list of the 'Top 30 Health Influencers for 2019'. Amazing right?


Joining him in the ranks are celebrities like Akshay Kumar, who grabbed the second position while yoga guru Baba Ramdev came in at the third position. Other top influencers on the list include Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, who are all amazingly fit and regularly post inspiring stuff on social media.

The top 30 list was prepared after checking the follower count of these influencers across different social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more. They were also judged by how much each of their careers focuses on health and fitness.

"Modi was instrumental in instituting the International Day of Yoga 2015, which is now observed globally. He is not only keen on improving India but keen on improving the health and fitness of Indians as well. Despite all the tasks at hand, the 68-year-old still manages to stay fit,", the report reads.

Narendra Modi is very proactive in supporting fitness and is definitely someone who stays on the right side of health. He regularly shares fitness videos on social media, asking his followers to pay attention to their health. On this Yoga Day, he diligently shared videos of him performing different yoga asanas like Trikonasana, Tadasana, and Vrikshasana.

He also shared a nearly two-minute video of himself doing asanas (body postures). It provided a glimpse of his fitness regime, including stretching and a few breathing exercises.
