Can You Help Ranjana Of Lexington, MA By Donating A Kidney?

Our daughter, Ranjana Sundaram, has end-stage-renal-disease, is on dialysis, and on the wait list for an urgent kidney transplant.  This has been a 10-yr saga starting as an autoimmune condition of the kidneys (with no apparent cause), not responsive to any treatment, and now leading to complete kidney failure. Through all this, she managed to graduate high school and college which is a testament to her grit (She is a product of the Lexington school system, graduating from LHS, and completed her undergrad studies at Mount Holyoke College last year). Given her age, a kidney transplant is the best option for her and a living donor transplant has the best outcomes.  Unfortunately, immediate family and extended family members and friends who have tried to donate, have all been disqualified for various reasons.

Here is a link with her story: https://www.nkr.org/FSG594. It has a button for people to register for kidney donation should they  choose to do so. The key points are that she is very young (23 yrs old), already on dialysis (therefore the need is urgent), and that unfortunately, no family member is eligible to donate (hence the broad outreach).
