IAGB organized 5K Walk/Run to support Coalition for the Homeless

Over 75 people participated in IAGB’s maiden 5K walk/run on May 11th, Saturday at Bruce Freeman Trail in Chelmsford, MA to support MA Coalition for Homeless. It was a wonderful day with perfect weather to walk or run on scenic Bruce Freeman Trail. For the first time, IAGB partnered with MA Coalition for Homeless to create awareness and help support kids and families from homelessness. And, 100% of the proceeds from the event were donated to MA Coalition for Homeless.

“Many thanks to everyone who joined the 5K walk/run and appreciate everyone’s support and donation to the MA Coalition for Homelessness”, said Aditi Taylor, President of IAGB.

Serving and supporting the local communities and charities has been a key focus of IAGB. Many community service and charity events, including clothing drive and well wish card for underprivileged children supporting Cradles to Crayons, volunteering drive at Greater Boston Food Bank and Community Servings, support and raise funds for Project bread, were organized in the recent past. IAGB organizes the community service events on a regular basis and everyone in the community is invited to join and help those who are in need and give back to the land we live in. Look out more upcoming events on our website.

IAGB is the oldest and one of the leading Indian-American organizations in New England. It serves the Indian-American communities in the Greater Boston area – Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
