Poem: I Do Not Tell Her

I Do Not Tell Her______________________

I do not tell her my feelings
I do not tell her my fears

I do not tell her my desires

Nevertheless, she recognizes them

I do tell her not to send me away
I do tell her not to leave me in the crowd

I do tell her not to forget me

Nevertheless, she identifies them from my eyes

I do not tell her how much I love her

I do not tell her how much I care for her

I do not tell her how much I like her lullaby

Nevertheless, she knows them from my heart

I do not tell her she is the heart of our home

I do not tell her about her tender love for me

I do not thank her orally for all that she does

Nevertheless, she senses them from my actions

I do not tell her about my little wish for her

I do not tell her she is my best friend

I do not tell her she is my so dear blessing

Nevertheless, she feels them from my doings

I do not tell her, I look for her when I get home

I do not tell her, I want to play with her

When Dad wants me to study with him

Nevertheless, she understands my likings

I do not tell her, her hugs put all joys in my day

I do not tell her, her values I cherish the most

I do not tell her, her love stays with me always

Nevertheless, she comprehends my thinking

I do not tell her, I sincerely honor her

I do not tell her, I love and praise her
I do not tell her, she mothered me so well

Nevertheless, she grasps them from my gestures
