VISA/OCI/PASSPORT 

CAMP ON 

SATURDAY, May 18th, 2019

At HINDU HERITAGE DAY 2019 Event

 Time: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Venue: 25th Union Street, Marlborough, MA 01752

Camp Co-Sponsors: Reflexis Systems, Inc. Dedham, MA, Jamsan Hotel Management, Lexington, MA 

Services Provided at this Camp include:

* New OCI ("Overseas Citizen of India") application

* PIO to OCI conversion

* India Passport renewal application

* Visa for tourists/Business/etc. for India

* Applications for the above will be reviewed and approved by Consulate Officers and CKGS (the agency for handling Visa applications) and received on the spot for further processing

* Miscellaneous services such as Power of Attorney, Attestation, Life Certificate, etc

* Any grievances and questions for community related to Visas will be addressed

* The services at this camp will be provided ONLY to individuals and NOT to any Travel Agents or commercial organizations

How to Apply:

Go to www.in.ckgs.us , Read through the How to Apply for the service you require.

Click on Get Started, halfway down the page Select the State you live in.

It will immediately ask you if you wish to apply through Consular services camp.

Select option Yes.  Then it will show the location of the camp. Now, fill-in all the information.  Complete all the way till you reach Payment and Appointment page.  Select the time slot and make payment.  Print the receipt.  Bring all documents such as current passport, last Indian passport held, address proof, citizenship certificate etc.  Officers will also assist with incomplete applications to the extent possible. Their help line numbers are: 516-206-1483, 646-589-0088 M-F 9 am - 9 pm EST. For a local volunteer's help in completing the application, send an email to Abhishek Singh at asingh2683@gmail.com with your phone number and the best time to reach you.

The Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, an organization that runs Bal Vihars at different places, hosted a Guru Vandana event at the Burlington High School on Sunday April 28. At this event teachers from around New England were honored by their students. The event had teachers from elementary, middle, high school and college. Dr. Amar Sawhney gave the keynote address.
