Shree HariDham Temple Celebrates Shree Hanuman Ji Janma-Utsav

Shree Hanuman Ji Janma-Utsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm and utmost religious fervor at the Shree HariDham Temple, Norwood, MA, on Apr 20, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. A large number of local and surrounding town devotees attended the program to commemorate the birth of Lord, Hanuman Ji. It is celebrated annually in the Hindi month of Chaitra (Chaitra Poornima) on 15th day of the Shukla Paksha.

Temple deities were immensely decorated with flowers and special garlands and the arrangement of colorful lightings in the shrine added special festive effect to the hall. The program started with Shree Hanuman Ji’s Arati by chanting of Vedic Hymns and singing of Hanuman Ji Arati songs by the temple priests, Pt. Vyas Ji and Pt. Jayanarayan Ji along with all the devotees. This was followed by the chanting of Shree Hanuman Sahashranamam in chorus to please their deity and seek His blessings for a trouble-free life. Lord Hanuman Ji was envisioned and worshiped as a symbol of devotion, magical powers, strength and energy by the devotees. Shree Hanuman Chaisa was chanted with phenomenal devotion by the temple priests along with all the devotees and children as it has ability to conquer the evil spirits and provide peace and clarity to the mind.


Shree Hanuman Janma Utsav celebration indicates the balanced coexistence of the whole human fraternity with all the nature’s incredible creatures, Hanuman avatar is considered as the 11th Rudra avatar of the Lord Siva with great devotion, strength, knowledge, divine power, bravery, intelligence, and the spirit for selfless service. Hindus worship this divine power in the form of Lord Hanuman who is a faithful servant of Lord Ram. Lord Hanuman Ji devoted his entire life only for His Lord Rama and Mata Sita and never showed his bravery and intelligence without any purpose. There are many names, specifically, Bajrangabali, Pavanasuta, Pavankumar, Mahavira, Balibima, Marutsuta, Anjanisut, Sankat Mochan, Anjaneya, Maruti, Rudra and many more by which Lord Hanuman Ji is very popular among his devotees. The devotees of the Lord Hanuman Ji are always praying to Him for receiving His blessings for their bright future, to obtain power, fame, and success in life.

 

After Maha Mangal Arati, Maha Prasadam was distributed to the devotees to have full blessings.
