Every household has their own unique versions of the chai, and it’s based on the personal preferences of the people. Whether it’s full cream, half milk-half water, sugarless, or strongly brewed, just sharing the delectable beverage over gossip and evening snacks can form unbreakable bonds.

You can find this drink at commercial outlets, but the aroma and flavour that a homemade cup of masala chai emits are unmatchable.

Blends of masala chai
When it comes to blends of spices, everyone has their own versions. Masala Chai also comes under this category, so you’ll find a million different versions of the same tea, but the foundation of this heavenly beverage remains the same. We have two of the best masala chai recipes that will give you the aromatic and ambrosial experience of a lifetime.

Classic Masala Chai recipe
Ingredients
5 green cardamom
1 cinnamon
4 teaspoon sugar
1 cup milk
1 black pepper
4 clove
2 teaspoon tea
1 teaspoon dried ginger powder
1/2 tablespoon green tea leaves

Steps:
Step 1: To prepare this delicious recipe, start by adding all the spices into a food processor and grind it into a powder. Remove the shells of cardamom, and grind it again.
Step 2: Now, take a deep-bottomed pan over medium flame and add 4 cups of water in it. As it comes to a boil, add the tea leaves and freshly ground masala you just prepared.
Step 3: After a minute, add the sugar and allow it to boil for 4-5 minutes.
Step 4: Finally, add the dry ginger powder and milk. Boil it more till it the milk starts rising up to the top.
Step 5: Turn the flame to low and grate some fresh ginger over it. Cover it with a lid and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
Step 6"Serve the fresh, hot cup of tea and enjoy!


Vegan Masala Chai recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of water
2 tbsp of raw sugar
2 tbsp of loose black tea leaves
½ tbsp of masala powder (a blend of cardamom, cinnamon, clove, ginger, and black pepper)
Grated ginger according to taste
1 ½ of non-dairy milk

Steps:
Step 1: To prepare this vegan beverage, take a deep-bottomed pan over medium flame and pour the water in it.
Step 2: Bring it to a boil and then, add the tea leaves, sugar, masala powder, and the grated ginger. Let it boil for another 5-10 minutes.
Step 3: While the mixture is boiling, slowly add in the non-dairy milk.
Step 4: When the tea is done, strain it into a cup and enjoy the delicious vegan masala tea!
