Kriti Sanon who stunned everyone with her performance in Bareilly Ki Barfi has a terrific line up for 2019 with four films releasing viz. Luka Chuppi, Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4 and Panipat.Kriti shares upon the lineup, "It Feels great; all the four films are different from each other in terms of concept, storyline, and characters. While Luka Chuppi is a situational comedy, Arjun Patiala is a crazy North Indian Comedy and Housefull 4 is a laughter riot. Panipat, on the other hand, is a complete breakaway from anything I have done so far. It's my first proper period film, in which I play the historical character of Parvatibai. I am a Punjabi and to dress, talk and behave like a Maharashtrian woman was a different experience. I completely submitted myself to director Ashutosh Gowariker and his vision.”

Adnan Sami has taken a dig at Pakistani trolls who have been speaking out against India's airstrike across LoC in a scathing tweet. In the tweet, the singer who originally hails from Pakistan but now holds Indian citizenship stood up against trolls from Pakistan, and told them that it is about 'eliminating terrorists' and not about 'egos being given a reality check.' He further went on to add that their 'Ostrich mentality' is 'laughable.' His tweet read, "Dear Pak trolls, It's not about your egos being given a reality check today; it's about eliminating terrorists who you 'claim' are also your enemies! Your Ostrich mentality is laughable. By the way, your abuses expose your reality and therefore the only difference between you and a bucket of rubbish is the bucket!"

In Sonchiriya, Bhumi Pednekar plays a '70s girl from Chambal. Local women apparently never wore footwear during those times. Relishing the prospect of a great challenge, Pednekar was keen to get a feel of walking barefoot everywhere! For about two months before the shoot started, the actor began walking without shoes in a garden, then on the roads and later just about everywhere. She was aware of the dangers of walking barefoot in Mumbai but she enjoyed becoming Indumati (her character). Pednekar, who loves to live roles, says, "These small nuances have added to the film." But her pedicurist must have had a great task in hand later.Meanwhile, Bhumi, who made her debut in Bollywood in 2015 with the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha, became nostalgic and emotional as the film completed four years on Wednesday. "Four years and 30 kg ago, my dream came true in the maddest possible way with 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'. I'll cherish this film forever," she tweeted.
