2018 was a milestone year in the history of NESSP. The Long cherished dream of building a permanent abode for our beloved Shirdi Sai Baba was accomplished successfully with tremendous hard work and support from all volunteers and devotees. The new temple was opened in October, 2018 coinciding with Sai Baba’s 100th Mahasamadhi celebrations with a grand inauguration and celebrations with participation from all volunteers, devotees and community at large.

Now that temple is successfully operating and devotees are enjoying blessings of Sai Baba and other Devetha’s there are a few challenges which NESSP has to address them in near future and rest of the 2019-2020 term.

.

Temple’s building permit is temporary due to some pending site work like landscaping, final paving of roads etc. To secure the permanent permit NESSP has to quickly finish this pending work as soon as winter is over.

.

Operational stability and scalability of services- We have moved from a 7000 sq. ft. rented building to a 40,000 sq. ft. building with 28 acres of land to manage. Needless to say operation stability and scalability of services is extremely critical for the Temple throughout 2019-2020.

.

Financial Stability – With support from all our donors, NESSP successfully completed the temple but we are looking for continued financial support to finish remaining work and continuing operations.

Given these challenges the new board has unanimously asked and appointed Mahender Singh and Baskaran Narasimhan to continue in their current roles as President and Treasurer respectively for another year (2019).

Board has also unanimously decided and asked Surya Kodukulla to step into a Co-Treasure role for 2019 and then transition into Treasurer role for 2020.

Similarly Board has unanimously decided and asked Neelkanth Mishra to step into a Vice President role for 2019 and then transition into President role for 2020.

Board has also unanimously decided to appoint Aruna Thummepalli to be the Secretary for both 2019-2020 and Bhaskar Gupta, Karpurapu as Co-Secretary for 2019-2020.

In Summary the new executive board for 2019-2020 looks as below:
