Problem 1:

Honza is 13 years old and Peter 21 years old. After how many years are their ages will be at ratio 7: 9?


Problem 2:
A man divides $10,000 into two investments, one returns  5% and the other at 8% per year. The returns are compounded into the principal.   Find how much is invested at each rate so that the two investments produce the same return after 10 years.

Problem 1:
The top of the pole we see at an angle of 45°. If we approach the pole by 10 m, we see the top of the pole at an angle of 60°. What is the height of the pole?


Problem 2:
A plane flies at altitude 6500 m. At the time of first measurement was to see the elevation angle of 21° and second measurement of the elevation angle of 46°. 

Calculate the distance the plane flew between the two measurements.

Nrityameva Jayate, a dance competition took place at the Keefe Technical School in Framingham, MA on November 18, 2018 and its grand success was attributed to the active participation of 850 attendees, 17 dance schools, 331 performers, 13 judges and several hardworking volunteers.
