Hindi Manch Rashtriya Mahotsav

Press Release
11/23/2018

Sahitya Vibhag, Hindi Manch’s central body for literary dialogue, publication and promotion of Hindi, Urdu and related dialects like Awadhi, Brijbhasha, Bhojpuri, Khadiboli, Bundelkhandi etc will be inaugurating the three day Hindi Manch Rashtriya Mahotsav (HMRM) on Nov 30th featuring local poets in Boston, MA.

In what is set to be a pioneering event, Hindi Manch’s Sahitya Vibhag will be organizing the country’s first poetry event that will provide a platform for undiscovered but promising US based talent. Deepti Naval, renowned actress and poetess and Aalok Shrivastav, well-known Hindi poet from India, will grace the poetry event.

Hindi Manch’s President, Preetesh Shrivastava extremely excited and proud of this flagship effort, stated “Sahitya Vibhaag has hosted several Sahithyik Goshthis and organized Hindi Sahitya Sammelan annually in the past featuring Boston talent. What makes this year unique is that we are inviting entries from all over the US and we will fly selected poets to Boston. Our aim is to not just promote but recognize and foster both established and budding poets within the US. I take pride that HMRM will provide voice to local talent and create synergies for future collaborations.”
