TriNethra - The Third Eye Festival Of Dance

In its fourth year TriNethra brings you a beautiful two evening celebration of dance and dancers! So come on out to Lexington and make it an evening to enjoy the many eateries in Downtown and then head over to the Historic Scottish Rite Masonic Museum to be transported to another beautiful realm through the medium of Dance!

Day 1:

6:45pm ACT 1 - Witness the lyrical movements of Odissi originating from the temples of the Coastal state of Odisha in eastern India.

8:00pm ACT 2- Then be transported through the cylce of the life in "Chakram" - a thematic and original Bharathanatyam production featuring the Bharathakali Performing Troupe.


Day 2:

6:00pm SPECIAL PERFORMANCE: Cheer on two young and upcoming dancers in the Bharathanatyam style.

6:45pm ACT 1 - Be fired up by the complex rhythms of the Kathak style of dance, a form that found its origins with the traveling bards of Northern India.

8:00pm ACT 2 - Finally, be pushed into a visual and aural spectable of the Yakshagana theatrical performance, a style originating from the Southern state of Karnataka.


NOTE: Tickets can be purchased at the venue CASH or CHECK only. No Credit Cards Please!
