Actor Shahid Kapoor, who has not been able to take out time for promotions of his upcoming film "Bati Gul Meter Chalu" because of his children, says "being a parent is above all." Shahid became parent one more time when he and Mira welcomed the arrival of their son Zain a week ago. They already have a two-year-old daughter Misha who is not keeping so well nowadays. The actor on Wednesday took to Twitter to explain his absence from work. He wrote: "The last few days have been tough. Misha running very high fever and Zain just came home. Have had to miss some promotions. Just nine days to go for "Batti Gul meter chalu" to release but being a parent is above all else. Hope to resume promotions very soon."

Bollywood's young gun Disha Patani has created an immense fan following across quarters in just two films. The actress who is treated with the love of her fans time and again received a special gift from a fan all the way from Punjab. A fan from Punjab traveled to Delhi to present the actress with a red scarf, which holds a special place in Disha's life owing to her latest blockbuster Baaghi 2.  Disha Patani's red scarf from Baaghi 2 became a statement as the actress was seen sporting the scarf on her left arm throughout the promotions. Even the first look poster featured the red scarf, implying its significance. While the actress receives many gifts from her fans, Disha considers the red scarf from her fan as the best gift and also termed it as her lucky charm even now, as the film emerged as a blockbuster at the box office.

Encouraged by the success of their brainchild Match Indian Poker League, Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra are now launching a website and app dedicated to the game. Called Poker Raj, the virtual offering will be launched on Sunday. Kundra says, "After launching Match Indian Poker League, we realised that one annual event is not enough for the millions of poker players we have in India. Launching an online site will help us attract more players to the league.

Anushka Sharma does not mind that her look from "Sui Dhaga" became the subject of viral memes online. The internet has been flooded with memes of a crying Anushka and the actor finds this amusing. "I found them hilarious. If such things happen organically then it means that the trailer has spread widely and deeply and that's why people are talking about it."The picture is so realistic, the character is so real that you can make a meme on it. Usually, this is something that is far remote from Anushka. I take it as a huge compliment. It is a great plus point," Anushka told reporters. The actor said she shared some memes with her co-star from the film, Varun Dhawan. The film, directed by Sharat Kataria of "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" fame, revolves around a lower middle class couple who decide to become self-reliant against odds.
