Satsang Center Celebrated Its 25th Anniversary

SATSANG Center celebrated its 25th anniversary on August 5th 2018. The celebration was held in Bhakta Samaj USA in Tyngsboro, MA. Someone counted and said that more than 540 supporters participated in this celebration.  

The evening began with a delicious dinner and live music. At the celebration, the musical group, VOICE INDIA fame  "7 Star" from Vadodara, Gujarat performed and mesmerized everyone with their melodious Hindi songs. The evening ended with Garba Ras traditional dancing.  SATSANG highly appreciated Seven Star Group for their stupendous performance. Many SATSANG Sevaks (volunteers) worked hard to make this event successful. On behalf of SATSANG Center, we would like to thank these volunteers.  We would also like to recognize long time supporters for their contributions which have enabled SATSANG Center's continued success. Lifetime sevaks who has been working together at least for last 25 years were introduced and appreciated.  Also community leaders and big time supporters were also introduced and took part in Lighting Lamp ceremony.  

SATSANG is a nonprofit, Tax-Exempt organization, was started in 1985 by small group of friends.  In Jan 1993, SATSANG bought Unitarian Church in Woburn MA and now has several hundred supporters. SATSANG offers a variety of religious and cultural activities.  These activities include a monthly bhajan program, special religious holiday celebrations, weekly dance classes, children's cultural classes, and Yoga class offerings. Over the course of it's history, SATSANG had supported the disaster relief efforts and community related volunteer worK, EKAL.ORG, Support a child  The Center is located at 1 Pleasant Street,Woburn, Massachusetts. The Center is available to rent for culturally appropriate social events at nominal fees. SATSANG welcomes all to take part in its hosted activities.
 
We wish SATSANG many more years of success and congratulate all the Center's supporters for their devotion and love for all.

IIT AGNE Annual Picnic 2018


IIT AGNE hosted a picnic at the beautiful NARA park in Acton MA on July 28, 2018, which is open to all IITians, members of the local community and their families. The picnic was well attended with over 150 people from all over the greater Boston area, including a number of undergraduate students from IITs in India who are doing internships or a projects at Boston universities.
